Alyssa + Ren + Braylon at Tolmie State Park

Here in Western Washington it suddenly feels like we raced past spring and are squarely in the middle of summer. This past weekend was no exception and when I got to Tolmie State Park on Sunday (after spending the whole day Saturday on the Oregon coast) everyone around was in shorts and t-shirts, wading in the cool waters of the Puget Sound and loving life. To say we lucked out with the weather, at the very beginning of May in the PNW, for this fun family portrait session is a drastic understatement, but it couldn’t have been more welcome.

It was so fun to celebrate little Braylon turning one and being able to document a little glimpse into the connections of this family of three, one-year strong. We also chose to go back to the place that Alyssa + Ren got engaged, adding an extra element of magic to this session.
