Lauren + Matt + Aelwen + Ellery at Gas Works Park in Seattle

As a Washington transplant myself one of my very favorite things is to be able to show off this Puget Sound area that I love so much to other people that have recently moved here or families that are visiting the area for a few days. There’s something special about a photo shoot while you’re on vacation because you’re already overjoyed to be discovering a new place, you’ve already decided to take these days off to reconnect with your family and you’re generally pretty free from other distractions and are doing a better job of fully living in the moment, which makes for the very best images.

These guys were stopping through Seattle on a giant trip and we were lucky enough to luck out with a magical Seattle evening at Gas Works Park right on the edge of Lake Union with the best view, some stunning sunset light and the smiliest crew around.
